New hoop classes start on Monday πŸ’œ

Hey Reader,

Happy last day of 2023! ✨ In the spirit of new beginnings, I wanted to let you know that a fresh session of hoop classes at Cabaret Atelier will be starting this Tuesday. If you've been wanting to level up or establish a hoop practice, January is a great time to start! Here are the details:

I'm switching things up a bit for this session:

  • I'll be offering two different foundations classes that will focus on building core skills rather than choreography
  • The foundation classes will allow single class drop-ins for those who don't want or need to attend the full session
  • Single Hoop Choreography has been extended by a half hour to now be 90 minutes

Beginner Hoop Foundations

Tuesdays | 6 - 7pm

Learn the basics of hula hooping in this 6-week series! The best class for beginners, we'll dive into all of the foundational elements of moving your hoop, including on body (waist, chest, knee hooping), off body (hand hooping, isolations, weaves), plus tricks & combos to embellish your flow.

$120 Session / $25 Drop-In

Double Hoop Foundations

Tuesdays | 5 - 6pm

This class will cover everything you need to jump start or expand your double hoop flow. Over the course of 6 weeks you’ll learn the basics of direction & timing, drills to develop crisp lines & clean planes, weaves and how to flow between them, and showy trick combos. Best for beginner to intermediate hoopers, this class will provide both challenges & successes for a variety of experience levels.

$120 Session / $25 Drop-In

Single Hoop Choreography

Tuesdays | 7 - 8:30pm

This class is for hoopers who wants to build stage presence and musicality through a group choreography, while discovering techniques to build confidence and inspire your own unique style. Having basic hoop proficiency such as hand & body hooping is encouraged before taking this class. Pro video shoot and performance opportunities are available to those who are interested!
